The highest scoring Swiss-born NHL player to date and a product of SC Bern in his home country, Roman Josi would be drafted 38th overall by the Nashville Predators at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and has played his entire career in the "Country Music Capital" thus far. A 4-time National Hockey League all-star who won the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the league's best defenceman in 2020, offered here is this stick used by Josi during the 2020 NHL Winter Classic on New Year's Day 2020 in front of 85,630 people against the Dallas Stars at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, a contest won by Dallas by a score of 4-2. A CCM Super Tacks AS2 model offering with "Josi" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original black tape job wrapped around the handle and knob while majority of both sides of the blade have been covered with Josi's personalized black blade grip sheets. Covered over the middle portion of the shaft with a gripping agent that is still tacky to the touch and black in colour, the stick displays game-use in the form of marks and abrasions over the length of the shaft, lower shaft and heel while many marks and a couple of small tears are present over both sides of the blade grip sheets as well. Having had a MeiGray hologram numbered "MGA27150" affixed to the underside of the shaft at the bottom of the handle tape and accompanied by a matching MeiGray LOA, the stick has been photo-matched with Getty Image #1197024963 (January 1st, 2020 vs Dallas - 2020 NHL Winter Classic) to various marks seen over the blade grip sheets.
