A diamond in the rough who was selected 58th overall by Tampa Bay at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Nikita Kucherov has become one the best goal scorers and overall players in the National Hockey League today, helping the Lightning to back-to-back Stanley Cup Championships in 2020 and 2021 as well as winning the Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies in 2019. This signed and photo-matched Lightning jersey was worn by the Russian star during the 2014-15 season, his sophomore year in the National Hockey League. A Reebok made offering with a size "56" label affixed to the inner collar that displays a handwritten and underlined "86" designation in faded black ink, the crests of both the NHL and Reebok adorn the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a blue twill team crest with “Tampa Bay” sewn directly above, matching alternate logo crests have been placed atop of both shoulders and the sleeves and verso have been styled with Kucherov's number "86" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while "Kucherov" has been spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Having been signed by Kucherov over the "6" on the reverse in silver paint pen, the garment displays with excellent game-wear including stick marks over the front and both sleeves, small unrepaired cuts over both sleeves, blue coloured board paint transfers over the right sleeve and team repairs over both sleeves, it is also worth noting that the ends of both sleeves have been taken in to Kucherov's liking. Also showing light pilling on the interior along with a Lightning team tag, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #683466846 (November 18th, 2014 vs New York) to the stick mark near the team crest, the two marks on the upper right sleeve, and to the frayed threading visible on the left side of the alternate crest on the left shoulder. A Tampa Bay COA will accompany the piece.
