Hailing from a season that saw the Montreal Canadiens finish their 43rd season of play in franchise history with a record of 34–26–10, good enough for second (2nd) place in the National Hockey League standings, the Habs would defeat the Boston Bruins in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in seven (7) games, setting up a meeting against the Detroit Red Wings in the Stanley Cup Finals. Offered here, we present this 1951-52 Parkhurst Montreal Canadiens team set that totals eighteen (18) cards that have all been graded by either PSA or SGC. All are rookie cards except for #1-Lach (SGC NM 7), #2-Meger (PSA NM 7) and #3-Bouchard (PSA NM-MT 8), the grouping includes the HOF first year offerings of Maurice Richard (SGC NM-MT 8.5), Doug Harvey (PSA NM 7) and Bernie "Boom Boom" Geoffrion (SGC NM 7), the rest of the cards include those of 5-Olmstead (PSA NM-MT 8), 6-MacPherson (SGC NM 7), 7-Johnson (PSA NM 7), 8-Masnick (SGC NM 7), 9-MacKay (PSA NM 7), 11-Mosdell (PSA NM 7), 12-Curry (SGC NM-MT 8), 13-Reay (PSA NM 7), 15-McNeil (PSA NM 7), 16-Gamble (SGC NM 7), 17-Couture (PSA NM-MT 8) and 18-Lowe (SGC NM 7), all the included cards are housed for preservation in good condition holders of various ages that show just light wear overall via some minor scratches and scuffs.
