Named Best Defenceman at the 2011 World Championships, Alex Pietrangelo captained St Louis from 2016 to 2020, with his exceptional play and stoic leadership helping the Blues to claim their first Stanley Cup championship in 2019. From the following season in 2019-20, we offer a photo-matched Blues captain's jersey worn by Pietrangelo in road games from Jan 27th to March 11th. "60” sizing appears across the collar band, with NHL and Adidas crests over the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the familiar Blues team crest with embroidered detailing, the white V-neck has been accented with “27” over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Pietrangelo” over the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. Game-wear includes burn marks to each sleeve, with a small hole near the left elbow. There are also a few team repairs, with approx 5 on the left sleeve and 2 on the right. Getty Image #1213615807 (March 11, 2020) has been matched to the small dark mark on the lower reverse, with the gold and black thread bumps at the bottom of the "2" of "27" also visible. Additionally, Getty Image #1211907517 (March 11, 2020) has been matched to the small hole in the yellow striping band on the left sleeve. The three thread bumps along the top of the team crest can also be seen. The team patch resides behind the nameplate, with a hologram affixed that matches the accompanying COA from the Blues.
