Mirroring the Topps release but featuring a checklist that included only the first 546 cards from the set released by their American counterparts, the 1970 O-Pee-Chee baseball release included cards that were printed in both French plus English and included key star and rookie cards of players such as Vida Blue, Jerry Reuss, Thurman Munson, Bill Buckner, Bill Russell, Reggie Jackson, Ted Williams, Tom Seaver, Roberto Clemente, Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Carl Yastrzemski and many others. Offered here, we present this lot of cards from the 1970 O-Pee-Chee baseball release that totals out to over 260 cards. With the group seen as presenting in the overall average condition range of G to VG throughout, key cards present include those of 1-Orioles Team (GOOD - corner wear and a crease), 61-Batting Leaders (G to VG - factory print line at top and corner wear), 195-Seaver Playoffs (G to VG - dings to all four corners and a ding at the bottom right), 22-Carlton (GOOD - crease and corner wear), 250-McCovey (VG to VG-EX - small "line dent" under is chin), 300-Seaver (GOOD - crease and border wear), 350-Clemente (GOOD - off-center and ding to right border), 450-McCovey AS (VG to VG-EX - light corner wear and light factory print line), 453-Carew AS (VG to VG-EX - light smudge and light factory print line), 455-B. Robinson AS (VG to VG-EX - off-center from top-to-bottom and light corner wear), 458-Rose AS (VG to VG-EX - corner wear), 459-Jackson AS (VG-EX to EX - ding to top left corner), 462-Aaron AS (GOOD - small crease at bottom left), 464-Bench AS (VG - factory print line at the bottom and off-center) and 470-Stargell (VG-EX to EX - off-center on the reverse. Also including a trio of unmarked checklist cards, it is worth noting that many of the cards included have elastic band marks to their edges and that the rest of the stars in the group are in a condition that is consistent with the rest of the group.
