Trailing only Gordie Howe for the most all-time points at the time of his retirement in 1981, Phil Esposito secured over 700 goals throughout his HOF career, with selection to the NHL First All-Star Team six times. A veteran of 1282 games played in his National Hockey League career who won a pair of Stanley Cup championships, a pair of Hart Memorial Trophies and five (5) Art Ross Trophies, Esposito would be the first NHL player to eclipse the 100 point plateau. Remaining a fixture of the game and the NHL in the years and decades since his retirement, offered here is this group of assorted hockey memorabilia that hails directly from Esposito's personal collection. Including a group of notable items that is paced by a 1978-79 New York Rangers shield logo belt buckle that features the year over the front and is engraved with "Esposito, Phil - 77" on the reverse while showing some scratches throughout, another gold coloured belt buckle is also included, this one smaller and sporting similar wear through scratching while being engraved over the front with Phil's "PAE" initials. Also including an "Honoured Member" crest clip of Phil's from Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, the roughly 2 1/3" x 4" crest is also joined by a 2009 Italian Walk of Fame lapel pin and a medal presented to Esposito by The Sports Museum in Boston, Massachusetts, who honored Phil on June 12th, 2003. Esposito's name and date appear over the reverse side of the medal, which remains in overall excellent condition and still sports its original yellow and blue ribbon, which does show wear that is worth noting for accuracy. Additionally, also among the noteworthy items is an an Artic Ice Hockey championship ring. Featuring imagery of a polar bear over the front with "Artic Ice Hockey" found over the top and bottom, the left shank reads "Champion - 2011 - 2013" while the right shank reads "Esposito 15". Possibly from a relative and showing scratches and small dings plus other assorted use, the inner band appears to be stamped with "AMHH" and "925". Also including a group of various lapel pins and coin/commemorative coin sets from all over the world (Russia, USA and Canada), the rest of the lot includes a set of cuff links featuring pieces cut from a game-used puck, a new in package Canada Post lithograph of Esposito from the 2002 NHL All-Star Game, a "Russian Heritage Night" jersey with "Esposito" and his number "7" over the reverse that is tagged as being a size "54" and finally, posters of Sweden, Finland and Czechoslovakia from the 1976 Canada Cup that are largely tattered and show other wear throughout via things like creases and rips/tears. An overall fantastic lot of memorabilia from one of hockey's greatest players, the collection is accompanied by an LOA signed by Esposito.
