Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2024
Standing alone atop the hockey world by having won the most Stanley Cups in the history of the famous trophy, the Montreal Canadiens have laid claim to the crown a total of 24 times in their storied 114-year lifespan thus far, with the most recent one coming during the 1992-93 season. Offered here, we present this collection of six (6) Montreal Canadiens framed team photos dating between 1986-87 and 1991-92. Each done in full colour and measuring roughly 9 ½” x 13 ½”, all have been affixed to a cardboard mount with the team and year listed above, and the players plus awards won listed below. Including examples for 1986-87, 1987-88, 1988-89, 1989-90, 1990-91 and 1991-92, all six (6) photos are housed in thin metal gold coloured frames and are displayed under both white and red mattes. With each photo measuring out to full dimensions of approximate 22 1/4" x 20 1/4", all of the included examples remain in good condition with light wear worth mentioning to the frames from age and display while the 1987-88 is framed without a glass. With all having a wire on the reverse side for mounting on a wall, all the pieces come from the personal collection of Brian Skrudland and are accompanied by his signed LOA.
Please note; While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
