Opening up the 1928-29 season at Boston Garden on Nov 20, 1928, the Boston Bruins took on the Montreal Canadiens, with the Habs winning the inaugural season contest 1-0, with Sylvio Mantha scoring the goal and George Hainsworth earning the shutout. This lot has a Boston Garden program for the match along with a 1928-29 season pass and schedule. The season pass is for Section 32, Row F, Seats 12 & 13. It has a "paid" stamp on the reverse along with a facsimile signature from Charles Adams. The schedule is from Jordan Marsh clothiers, with the scores filled out in pen and a few small newspaper clippings glue to the cover. Both the season pass and schedule have tape and/or residue, with the schedule mostly split along the spine. The program is complete, with the detached line-up also sporting a tear to each page. Otherwise, just light wear is exhibited.
