Neat collection of vintage hockey memorabilia of Mr. Hockey includes a circa late-1960s/early-1970s melamine plastic candy dish/tray made MB Italy. The tray measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" and aside for a few specks of paint loss on the edges and fine scuffing on some spots it remains in beautiful condition and has fresh and strong colors.
Next are a pair of circa 1964-67 Gordie Howe Eaton’s promotional postcards. Standard size 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" postcards depict Howe in his Detroit Red Wings uniform on the front while the backs have text in French about the Eaton’s Truline hockey equipment and have his facsimile autograph on the bottom. A 1960-61 Shirriff hockey coin #42 of Gordie Howe is also included. The coin has a diameter of about 1 3/8”. The plastic coin is intact so is the plastic shield cover. Aside for a few minor scratches to the plastic shield cover the coin is in very nice condition with fresh and strong colors.
The last piece is a 1961-62 Shirriff hockey coin #66 of Gordie Howe. The coin has a diameter of about 1 3/8”. The plastic coin is intact, the picture has a small stain on its left area and overall remains in decent collectible condition with nice colors.
