Registering a record of 41-23-9 with nine (9) shutouts, a .914 save percentage and a 2.02 goals against average, Martin Brodeur would lead the New Jersey Devils to a Stanley Cup championship during the 2002-03 season, the third of his career, while also claiming the first Vezina Trophy of his career. Finishing third in Hart Memorial Trophy voting at the year's conclusion, offered here is this display featuring a puck signed by Broduer that was used in Game 2 of the 2003 Stanley Cup Finals at Continental Airlines Arena in which the Devils won by a score of 3-0 as well as a swatch of net used in the goals during the Finals in Devils home games as well. For the puck, displaying the 2003 Stanley Cup Finals logo over the front along with "Stanley Cup Finals" and "Game Two" above and below along with an NHL shield logo as well, the puck has been signed by Brodeur with a silver marker ink signature that displays without issue while a hologram has been affixed alongside it. Of note, the puck hails from the game in which Brodeur tied the single season playoffs shutout record with six (6) that was set by Dominik Hasek a year earlier. Brodeur would go on to claim the record for his own with a 3-0 shutout win in Game 7. For the swatch of net, measuring roughly 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" in size and still nice and white, a hologram is wrapped around the one string. Framed in a black coloured thick 9" x 11" frame that shows just light wear, both pieces of memorabilia are accompanied by COA's from the NHL GamePucks Program with an additional Steiner one for the puck.
