A two-time James Norris winner as the NHL’s premier defenceman during his career with the Chicago Blackhawks, Duncan Keith won a trio of Stanley Cup championship while patrolling the Chicago blueline during his 17-year National Hockey League career, playing all but 64 of his 1256 career games played in The Windy City. Offered here, we present this stick used by Keith while patrolling the Blackhawks blueline in the mid-to-late-2000s, circa the 2007-08 or 2008-09 seasons of play. An Easton Synergy SE model with "2 Keith" factory graphics over the upper shaft and partially covered by Duncan's original "candy cane" tape job, the stick also retains its original tape job of white cloth-over-white on the handle/knob and black wrapped around the blade. Featuring a factory production code sticker over the underside of the lower shaft, Keith has signed over the forehand side of the heel with a black marker ink signature that displays without issue and has had an authentications hologram numbered "A717190" affixed underneath. Exhibiting moderate game-use throughout, including a number of marks and abrasions over the lower shaft and heel areas, both sides of the blade tape also show puck marks and wear that is heavy along the bottom and over the bottom edge.
