Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2024
The most infamous occurrence in what is regarded as "The Battle of Quebec" - where the Montreal Canadiens and Quebec Nordiques squared off in numerous epic tilts - the "Good Friday Massacre" stands above all others for it's notable brawls and vicious play. Occurring on April 20, 1984 in Game 6 of the Adams Division Finals, fisticuffs spanned each period, and by the time the final buzzer sounded, 11 players were ejected and 252 penalty minutes were assessed. This ticket stub hails from the historic match, and it has been graded EX 5 by PSA. The Montreal Forum stub lists Game 4 at the Forum, along with the section, row and seat. Just light wear is exhibited, with advertising from Molson on the reverse. The only graded example from PSA, this item is a must for any Quebec hockey collector.
