The youngest U.S. born player to reach the 1000-point plateau for their career, Patrick Kane owns a trophy case crammed full of awards including three Stanley Cups, the Conn Smythe, Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies, the Calder Memorial Trophy and the Ted Lindsay Award just to name a few. Hailing from the 2008-09 campaign in which he posted 70 points in 80 games played and helped the Blackhawks get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2002, offered here is this stick used by Kane during the season. A Nike Bauer made Supreme One95 model twig with "P. Kane #88" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original black gripper over the handle/knob which has had Kane's number "88" penned to the bottom of it on the topside in silver marker ink. Also sporting its original white tape over the blade, which has had a black box drawn and then coloured in on the forehand side, Kane has signed the stick over the lower portion of the shaft with a silver ink signature that displays with heavy fading from age. Still displaying its factory production sticker affixed to the underside of the shaft, which points to an early 2009 production date, the stick displays with excellent game-use throughout with numerous marks and abrasions over the length of the shaft as well as over the lower shaft and heel. Also having had a light amount of now dried gripping agent applied to the shaft as well, puck marks are present over both sides of the blade tape while a small chip is present in the toe. Finally, some wear is seen to the tape on the bottom edge of the blade.
