Named the Western Hockey League "Player of the Year" in 2013-14, Sam Reinhart would be drafted 2nd overall that summer by the Buffalo Sabres at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Having played with both Buffalo and the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League, Reinhart was named to the NHL All-Star Game in 2024 and has also represented Canada at both the senior and junior levels of play, winning gold at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship and 2016 IIHF World Championship. Hailing from the 2018-19 season in which he posted twenty-two (22) goals and sixty-five (65) points while suiting up in all eighty-two (82) games on the schedule, offered here is this stick used during the year by Reinhart. A CCM made Ribcore model twig with "Reinhart" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of ribbed black over the handle/knob and black over the blade as well. Of note, a notation reading "@NYR OTT" is penned over the reverse side of the handle tape near the bottom in silver marker ink with this combo of games only taking place between November 11th, 2018 and November 14th, 2018, with Sam recording a pair of assists in the Ottawa contest. Tacky to the touch over the entirety of the shaft, with residue of a now dried gripping agent observed, the stick exhibits light game-wear via a few marks and abrasions throughout the shaft, lower shaft and heel while additional marks and stick wax are present over both sides of the blade tape as well along with some tears.
