Widely considered as one of the top three players throughout the history of the fabled Montreal Canadiens along with Rocket Richard and Jean Beliveau, Guy Lafleur enjoyed tremendous success during his Habs tenure, capturing five Stanley Cup championships, three Art Ross Trophies, two Hart Memorials and the Conn Smythe. Enjoying a National Hockey League career that spanned a total of 1126 games and inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988, offered here is this stick issued to Lafluer for the 1979-80 season that has been signed by twenty-four (24) members of that years Canadiens squad. A Sher-Wood made P.M.P. 5030 model with "Flower 10" stamped over the upper shaft, a date stamp that reads "19 FEV 1980" is seen on the underside of the lower shaft as well. With "Montreal Canadiens 1979-1980" penned over the upper shaft in red ink, a "Les Canadiens" notation with the team's logo and the year has been added over the blade on the forehand side. Sporting an intact foil accent over the lower shaft and having had the graphics sanded down on one side, twenty-four (24) members of that year's squad have signed the stick in thin blue marker ink that has been covered in Shellac including Mondou, Gainey, Lambert, Robinson, Cournoyer (was in training camp only before retiring the day before the season), Houle, Savard, Lupien, Gingras, Dupont, Larocque, Risebrough, Lapointe, Chartraw, Jarvis, Herron, Napier and others.
