Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2024
Combining to win a total of ten (10) World Series championships over the course of their respective careers as well as numerous other awards such as MVP's, All-Star nods, Silver Sluggers, Batting Championships, Gold Gloves, Triple Crowns and Cy Young's, the likes of Reggie Jackson, Willie Mays, Frank Robinson and Roger Clemens played a combined total of 9342 games in the Major Leagues, with Jackson, Mays and Robinson also having been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. Offered here, we present this grouping of 1995 Upper Deck baseball cards signed by the four (4) legends listed above. All featuring vintage style photographs over their fronts that are either posed or action images, each card has been signed by the featured player on the front with a blue marker ink signature, with all four (4) displaying well despite some fading from age that is most obvious on the Jackson example. Additionally, it is important to note that the cards of Jackson, Mays and Robinson have some black stains/residues on them over the fronts that is heaviest on the first two (2). With each having had Upper Deck holograms affixed to their lower reverses, all of the cards expect for the Reggie Jackson come with UDA COA's that have had matching holograms added to them. In terms of condition, all four (4) are in good condition but do show some light wear to the edges and corners that is worth noting for accuracy along with the previously mentioned black stains/residue marks over the fronts of the Jackson, Mays and Robinson examples.
