Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2024
Playing a total of 1269 National Hockey League games over the course of his 19-year National Hockey League career, Brett Hull would pot a total of 741 goals over that time, the fifth (5th) most in the history of the league and win a pair of Stanley Cups as well as numerous other awards and trophies. An elite scorer at all levels of the game who is nicknamed "the Golden Brett" in a reference to his father's nickname of "the Golden Jet", the younger Hull would be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009. Offered here, we present this 2012-13 Panini Dominion "Peerless Patches" autographed memorabilia card of Hull. Pictured as a member of the Detroit Red Wings, with his image appearing over the right side of the card on the front, a gorgeous swatch of Detroit's famed "winged wheel" team crest has been cut from one of Hull's game-worn Red Wings jerseys and has been embedded into the front of the card. Sporting gold foil coloured accents with a serial number of "09/25" appearing near the top right corner, Hull has signed the front of the card underneath his image on the front with a blue marker ink signature that displays without issue and has been penned directly on the card itself. Found in its original raw ungraded form, the card shows in excellent condition with just light wear at the corners and edges worth noting for accuracy.
