Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2024
Following in the great line of prominent superstar Montreal Canadiens goaltenders, Carey Price enjoyed fifteen seasons in a Habs uniform during his storied National Hockey League career, with numerous awards and accolades won including the Hart Memorial and Vezina trophies in 2014-15, a gold medal at the 2014 Sochi Olympics and a World Cup of Hockey championship in 2016. A surefire future Hockey Hall of Fame inductee. Offered here, we present this "Stack The Pads" dual memorabilia card of Price that hail's from Leaf/In The Game's 2015-16 In The Game Used release. Displaying an action image of Price over the front right side of the card that shows him during his early years with Montreal/Hamilton based on the mask and pads he is wearing in the image, a "Stack The Pads" title is found underneath that in gold/rainbow foil while a par of leather swatches cut from a pair of Price's game-worn goalie pads have been embedded into the front of the card in that area. Sporting additional gold/foil accents throughout the front of the card, including at the top left in the form of an esteemed "1/1" designation, the card, remaining in its original raw ungraded form is found in fantastic condition overall and only shows light touches of wear to the four (4) corners that is worth mentioning for accuracy.
