Selected second overall in 1981 by the Chicago Cubs, Joe Carter spent limited time with Cleveland, San Diego and others, with his seven seasons in Toronto memorable for back-to-back World Series championships in the early-1990s, hitting a series-clinching walk-off homer in the 1993 Fall Classic. Hailing from the same season in which he knocked that famed walk-off World Series winning homer over the wall, offered here is this Toronto Blue Jays jersey worn by Carter during the 1993 MLB All-Star Game in Baltimore, the third of five "mid-summer classic's" that Carter played in during his career. A button up garment made by Wilson, a brand label displaying a size "46" designation is affixed to the inner collar as well as a strip tag in the same material as the jersey itself that displays "29 93 2" for the player/year/set. Of note, an additional label is found under the Wilson one, displaying a heavily faded "3" Body" notation in black pen ink and the word "Short". Styled with "Toronto" arched across the chest in dual layer white-over-blue tackle twill letters with a Blue Jays team crest over the left side as well that features embroidered details throughout, the 1993 MLB All-Star Game event patch worn by players participating in the game has been added over the left sleeve. Featuring all the buttons still firmly in place over the front, the reverse of the jersey has been decorated with Carter's number "29" in numbers that match the ones in "Toronto" over the front while "Carter" is spelt out in single layer blue twill letters that have been arched across the top of the back and sewn directly to the material. Also sporting knited blue and white striped cuffs at the end of each sleeve, the jersey displays good game-wear via staining and soiling throughout the front, reverse and both sleeves, evidence of fabric rubbing on the interior and sweat staining around the collar and sleeve cuffs. Additionally, the jersey has been signed by Carter over the front with a black marker ink signature that displays well and without issue and a screenshot taken showing Carter during the game's player introductions appears to show him wearing the jersey in question based on the placement and spacing of the letters in "Carter" over the upper reverse as well as the flat top edge near the top of the inner portion of the "9" that is caused by some fraying of the twill but the image/footage is not clear enough to call it a conclusive video-match
