A veteran of just under 500 games in the NHL, defenseman Greg Zanon was drafted by Ottawa in 2000 and defended the bluelines of four different clubs throughout his career including Boston and Nashville. This signed Predators jersey was worn by the Burnaby native in 2007-08, and was acquired in the Preds "Shirts Off Their Back" promotion on October 4, 2007. Sporting a single size “56” tag with “5” handwritten in black ink affixed to the inner collar, crests for the NHL and Reebok adorn the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring an attractive bright and colourful Predators team crest over the front that shows textured details, the sleeves and verso have been accented with number “45” in slanted navy numerals that have been outlined in gold, with “Zanon” appearing across the affixed nameplate. Additionally, the franchises 10th anniversary patch has been affixed to the right breast with matching alternate logo crests also appearing over each shoulder. Game-wear is light as the jersey was worn for a single contest, with just a stick mark to the right sleeve. Zanon has signed the reverse number in dark marker, and it exhibits some fading. There is a MeiGray tag numbered "E00643" on the inside hem, and according to the population report, the jersey is a "Navy - Promotional Game 10/4/07" specimen. The card from the promotional contest will accompany.
