Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2024
The only NHL player to ever hail from Delaware, Mark Eaton played for four different NHL clubs, with the majority of his career split between Pittsburgh and Nashville. This photo-matched Predators jersey was worn by Eaton in the 2001-02 regular season, as well as the 2002-03 NHL preseason. A label with "56" sizing remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and KOHO crests on the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Styled with an attractive Preds team crest along with "4" in dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, alternate crests also grace each shoulder, with "Eaton" across the nameplate in single white twill. Game-wear includes a few puck, stick and burn marks to the sleeves, with a team repair to the left sleeve. Getty Image #1469103 (Sept 25, 2002 preseason) has been matched to the two extended yellow threads on the "4" on the left sleeve, with a blue threading also showing at the bottom right of the team patch on the left shoulder. A COA from the Predators will accompany.
