A product of the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders who was drafted 6th overall by the Nashville Predators at the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Scott Hartnell would go on to a seventeen (17) year National Hockey League career that would see him wear the colours of Nashville as well as Philadelphia and Columbus. Playing in the NHL All-Star Game in 2012 and representing Team Canada at the 2006 IIHF World Championship, offered here is this Predators jersey worn by Hartnell during the 2005-06 season. Made by Reebok and featuring a size "56" label affixed to the inner collar that has had Hartnell's number "19" penned to it in now washed out blue ink, a Reebok patch has been added over the reverse neckline while the NHL shield crest has been sewn on over the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the garment with a Predators team crest that features embroidered and textured details throughout its entirety, matching alternate logo patches have been placed over both shoulders. Having been styled over the sleeves and verso with Hartnell's number "17 in dual layer tackle twill numerals, "Hartnell" has been spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Sporting its original fight strap on the interior of the jersey, the garment shows game-wear in the form of stick marks and board burns over both sleeves, an additional stick mark is also present over the left hip as well. Exhibiting additional battle scars in the form of coloured board paint transfers over both hips and behind the left shoulder, another small blue coloured mark is observed over the right sleeve while a small cut is present near the right elbow. Having had a team tag sewn inside the reverse hem denoting the jersey as a "Set #1 2005-2006" offering, a MeiGray tag numbered "C05716" is sewn in alongside it, with the company's population report listing the jersey as a "Navy Set 1" specimen. Signed by Hartnell over the reverse number "7" with a black marker ink signature that displays without issue and accompanied by a matching MeiGray LOA, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #115338817 (December 8th, 2005 vs New York) to the stick marks on the inside of the left sleeve.
