Forward Greg Johnson's captain's "C" rests on the left breast of Johnson's game-worn Nashville Predators jersey, donned during the 2003-04 campaign, Johnson's second to last season in the NHL before hanging them up. Johnson laced 'em up with Detroit, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Nashville during his 785-game NHL career. Tagged in the collar is a size "54" with his number "22" handwritten alongside, and the back of the collar has a "CCM" patch. Both sleeves exhibit a dozen or so game marks. The lower left sleeve includes a team repair, two light unrepaired board burns, one board burn, and a stick mark on the cuff. The right sleeve has multiple board burns and a few light stick marks near the cuff. The front of the jersey exhibits a dozen or so game marks, including five stick marks, along with a couple of game marks on the crest and paint transfer above the hem. The back of the jersey exhibits a dozen or so game marks near the hem. On the inside hem is a "Cutting Edge Set #1" Predators patch and a MeiGray patch that reads, "NHL game-worn jersey 2003-2004 Season B04958". According to MeiGray's population report, the jersey is a "White 1st Regular Season" example. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA that confirms that "this White 1st Regular Season jersey was worn by Greg Johnson during the 2003-04 National Hockey League regular season", with the Authentication Program number B04958 matching the one on the jersey.
