A product of the University of North Dakota who would be drafted 33rd overall by the Philadelphia Flyers at the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, Greg Johnson would play a total of 785 games in the National Hockey League over the course of his career, playing for teams such as Detroit, Pittsburgh, Chicago and Nashville over that time. A silver medalist with Canada at the 1994 Olympic Winter Games and a gold medalist with Canada at the 1991 IIHF World Junior Championships, offered here is this Nashville Predators third jersey worn by Johnson during the 2003-04 season. Made by Koho and sporting a single size "54" label affixed to the inner collar, a Koho logo patch has been sewn on over the reverse neckline while the NHL shield crest has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a Predators team crest that features heavily embroidered details throughout its entirety, matching alternate logo patches have been added atop of both shoulders while the distinguished captain's "C" has been sewn on over the left breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Johnson's number "22" in dual layer navy-over-white tackle twill numerals, "Johnson" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Also showing "Nashville" in felt navy coloured letters underneath the collar, the jersey displays game-wear in the form of stick marks over the lower front and a coloured board paint transfer over the right side. Having had the sleeves shortened a bit to Johnson's liking, the jersey also exhibits staining throughout the body and sleeves, which is heaviest behind the left shoulder and inside the collar. Having had a MeiGray tag numbered "B04920" sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company's population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 1" specimen and is accompanied by a matching LOA.
