The NHL record holder for postseason wins by a rookie with 22, netminder Matt Murray won Stanley Cup championships during his first two seasons with the Pens and was named to the All-Rookie Team in 2017. Named the American Hockey League's best goaltender and the Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Award as best rookie while playing for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in 2014-15, offered here is this Pittsburgh Penguins jersey worn by Murray during his rookie season of 2015-16 in which he posted a record of 9-2-1 in 13 games played during the regular season and 15-6 in 21 postseason contests as Pittsburgh won the Stanley Cup for the fourth (4th) time in franchise history over the San Jose Sharks. Made by Reebok and displaying both "Goalie Style" and size "58" labels affixed to the inner collar, the front and reverse necklines of the jersey have been accented with the logo crests of both the NHL and Reebok respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with Pittsburgh's familiar team crest that features embroidered details, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Murray's number "30" in dual layer black outlined in sport gold tackle twill numerals while "Murray" has been spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Having had a Penguins team tag sewn on inside the reverse hem that denotes the jersey as being a "Set 2 - Game Jersey" specimen, the garment shows good game-wear in the form of puck marks over the front, both shoulders, both sleeves and upper reverse while red post paint transfers are observed on the left sleeve underneath the "3" and over the fight strap on the lower reverse. Also displaying light pilling around the collar and heavier amounts of it on the interior, Murray has signed over the "3" on the reverse with a silver marker ink signature that displays without issue. Having had a JerseyTRAK sensor added underneath a piece of twill on top of the fight strap on the interior, the garment is signed inside the fight strap by Penguins equipment manager, Dana Heinze, and is accompanied by both a Penguins COA and a JerseyTRAK document that lists the games (13 in total) the jersey was scanned into by equipment staff.
Regarding a photo-match, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #521842568 (April 9th, 2016 vs Philadelphia) to numerous puck marks over the front, left sleeve and left shoulder.
