A product of Cape Breton in the Q and sitting 2nd all-time in career wins by a goaltender, Marc-Andre Fleury has played twenty (20) seasons in the National Hockey Leauge and has won a trio of Stanley Cups with the Penguins in 2009, 2016 and 2017 as well as both the Vezina Trophy and Jennings Trophy in 2021 with the Vegas Golden Knights. Offered here, we have two (2) pairs of pants worn by Fleury in 2010-11 while guarding the Pittsburgh net that have been photo-matched, which includes both his home/away and third examples. Both Reebok models featuring accents in Penguins colours with all padding and strapping intact, the home/away examples are accented with an embroidered Penguins logo on the lower front right leg, with both containing NHL shield crests along the lower reverse of the right leg. Great use is visible on each, with puck and stick marks present along with abrasions and surface wear. The home/away examples also feature a handwritten notation to the interior of "#29 2010/11 Set 1". Regarding the previously mentioned photo-matches for the home/away pants, Getty image #107809003 (Dec 20th 2010 vs Phoenix), Getty image #107105869 (Nov 22nd, 2010 vs Florida) and Getty image #107209343 (Nov 29th, 2010 vs New York) have all been matched to a number of black marks on the right leg side of the pants (in the gold striping section). Regarding the third pants, Getty images #107070610 and #106971427 (Nov 10th, 2010 vs Boston) along with Getty image #107784679 (Dec 26th, 2010 vs Ottawa) and Getty image #108252484 (Jan 22nd, 2011 vs Carolina) have all been matched to a number of black marks on the right leg side of the pants (in the pale blue striping section). Additionally, Getty image #109386552 (Feb 23rd, 2011 vs San Jose) has also been matched to these same marks.
