Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2024
Developing a more “gentlemanly” style of play as his game developed as a two-time Lady Byng winner, Stan Mikita made appearances at nine All-Star matches from 1964 to 1975, and was also awarded multiple Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies. We offer a pair of Topps cards signed by the 1961 Stanley Cup winner. Included, we have a 1963 Topps and 1965 Topps with the autographs deemed "Authentic" by PSA/DNA (no grading for the cards themselves), with both cards signed in what appears to be blue fibre-tip marker. The signatures are flawless, with light wear to the cards including some corner wear to the 1965 Topps. Enshrined in 1983, Mikita passed away in 2018.
