Bowling 11 perfect games during his career, Hank Marino was a global star on the bowling circuit throughout the 1930s. Winning the BPAA national match game singles title and holding it for 2 1/2 years before surrendering it on December 19, 1937, Marino retired undefeated in January 1938. The Sicily native was also elected a charter member of the bowling Hall of the Fame in 1941. This 1930s Granger pipe tobacco advertising pictures the pin crusher. At 14" x 20" with vividly bright colours, Marino is depicted with pipe in mouth, with the Granger logo across his chest. In beautiful condition, there is just some very minor wear along a few edges.
