An excellent grouping sure to pique the interest of any blue and white enthusiast looking to decorate the walls of their Maple Leafs shrine, look no further than this lot made up of a collection of five (5) Toronto Maple Leafs based framed displays. Paced by a limited-edition lithograph by noted artist Daniel Parry titled “Glory Years” that features names like Baun, Bower and Ellis after the Leafs 1967 Cup win, the piece has been signed by all three hockey legends under respective images of themselves in silver ink, the artist Parry has also signed the piece under the main portrait in pencil. Serial numbered “1248/3000” under the title in the middle, the piece has shifted down under the blue coloured matte and is housed in a black coloured brushed metal frame with full dimensions measuring out to 25 1/2” x 30 1/2". Of note, a COA is affixed to the back of the frame. For the next three pieces, all pertain to important milestone events surround Toronto’s home arenas in the form of a panoramic photograph display of the last opening face-off at Maple Leaf Gardens during the arena’s final game on February 13th, 1999 that measures out to 40 ½” x 19 ½”, a collectors series collage print and display of all the Leafs Stanley Cup winning teams that happened during the Gardens’ 68-year history that was released during the hallowed arena’s final year of 1999 that measures out to full dimensions of 30 ½” x 25” and a framed program display from the 2000 NHL All-Star Game held in Toronto on February 6th, 2000 that includes a replica program of the first official All-Star Game hosted by the Leafs at Maple Leaf Gardens on October 13th, 1947 and a program from the 2000 edition of the contest as well as various medallions and lapel pins with full dimensions ringing in at 23 ¾” x 21 ¼”. Lastly, is a Molson Canadian framed display that contains an 8” x 10” image of Don Cherry in the middle that is surrounded by cards displaying can designs inspired by some of Grapes’ suits with the display measuring 23” x 27”. All housed in wooden frames that show varying degrees of wear to their edges and corners as well as some small tears to the backing paper on a couple, the displays are all under appearance enhancing mattes as well.
