Pitting the New York Rangers against Atlantic Division rivals the Philadelphia Flyers, the fifth installment of the Winter Classic took place at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park, on Jan 2, 2012, with the Blueshirts slipping past the Bullies in the popular outdoor contest, 3-2. Seeing a total of 19:08 of ice time throughout the entirety of the contest, offered here are these photo-matched pants worn during the game by Philadelphia assistant captain, and current general manager, Daniel Briere. Made by Bauer and featuring a "M/M" size tag as well as one reading “Daniel Briere” on the interior, a familiar Flyers logo has been embroidered into the right thigh while "Bauer" is embroidered into the left one in white letters. Black in colour with orange stripes extending down each side, the NHL shield is embroidered into the reverse side of the right leg. Retaining its original belt system on the interior as well as the lace fed through the eyelets over the front, the pants pants display light game-use through some stick marks over both thighs while some white coloured marks are seen over the front of the piece as well. Also showing some white coloured stains on the reverse, it is also worth noting that the Flyers wore their Winter Classic gear again in a home game on February 11th, 2012, also against the Rangers. Having had a MeiGray tag numbered "I03250" sewn on inside the right leg opening and accompanied by a matching LOA, the pants have been photo-matched with Getty Image #136480241 (February 2nd, 2012 vs New York - 2012 NHL Winter Classic) to the small white coloured mark near the right leg opening on the front.
