Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/1/2024
Forever changing the art form of goaltending as the first netminder to fall to the ice to stop the puck, earning the endearing moniker of “Praying Benny”, Clint Benedict enjoyed a lengthy HOF career with the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Maroons which included backstopping four Stanley Cup championship clubs. This 1912-13 Imperial Tobacco C57 card has been graded EX 5 by SGC. Appearing clean on the front and reverse, the card displays wonderfully overall. There are a few minor scratches to the SGC holder to note.
