“Yaz” as he affectionately known throughout Red Sox Nation, spent his whole 23-year career in Boston and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility in 1989. An 18-time All-Star, the possessor of seven Gold Gloves, a member of the 3,000 hit club, and the first American League player in that club to also accumulate over 400 home runs.[3] He is second on the all-time list for games played, and third for total at-bats. the American League MVP and Triple Crown winner in 1967, offered here is this copy of Yastrzemski's 1971 O-Pee-Chee card that has been graded by PSA. An extremely condition sensitive set due to the black coloured borders that surround the images of players over the front, this copy of Yaz's cardboard has been deemed worthy of an EX 5 designation and displays with only light amounts of edge wear/chipping around it. Off-center a bit from left-to-right and bottom-to-top, a bit of wear is observed to all four (4) corners while the reverse is also off-center from right-to-left as well. Retaining excellent colours over both sides, the desirable cardboard is housed in a PSA holder that shows a couple of light scratches over both sides that are worth mentioning for accuracy.
