Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024

The 46th season of play in the history of the Los Angeles Kings franchise, the 2013-14 campaign saw them finish with a 46–28–8 record, good enough for 3rd in the Pacific Division and 6th in the Western Conference. Led by leading scorer, Anze Kopitar and team captain, Dustin Brown, the Kings would knock off the San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks on the road to the Stanley Cup Finals before eliminating the New York Rangers in five (5) games to give Los Angeles the franchise's 2nd Stanley Cup championship in a span of three (3) years. Offered here, we present this wonderful 2013-14 Los Angeles Kings Stanley Cup Championship trophy that was produced by Boffey, and is similar to the examples awarded to each member of the Kings by the NHL in a tradition dating back to 1958. Measuring 13" in height and mounted to a wooden base with dark grey felt underside, the names of the men who made it happen are engraved beneath Kings executives, with “Los Angeles Kings” and “2013-14” engraved above. Remaining in overall fantastic condition with only light scuffs/scratches to make you aware of throughout the entirety of the piece, the trophy has been accented further by the fact that the felt underside has been signed by the likes of Jonathan Quick, Anze Kopitar, Dustin Brown, Matt Greene and Jarret Stoll with silver marker ink signatures that are hard to make out due to age and the nature of the material that they are signed on, with a sticker from manufacture, Boffey, found in the middle of the felt as well.
