Sure to pique the interest of all collectors that are seeking out vintage lumber that once graced the ice of National Hockey League and major junior hockey arenas, offered here is this lot that features five (5) sticks from the 1970s and 1980s that were used by the likes of Lorne Henning (1971-72 WCHL New Westminster Bruins), Doug Evans (Mid-to-Late-1980s - St. Louis Blues), Kris Manery (1977-78 - Cleveland Barons), Billy O'Dwyer (1987-88 - Boston Bruins) and Warren Young (1985-86 - Detroit Red Wings). A mix of Victoriaville (Henning and Young), Canadien (Evans), Louisville (Manery) and Sher-Wood (O'Dwyer) models, all the included sticks have had each player's respective name and/or number stamped and/or penned over the upper shaft while most also feature accent striping stickers around the shafts as well with some having been lost to time to in varying states of deterioration. Of note, the Henning is from his final season of junior with the WCHL's New Westminster Bruins and only has his number stamped over the shaft in red but is signed by him one side with a ballpoint pen ink signature that displays without issue. All retaining their original tape jobs over the handles/knobs, all of the sticks included have had their blade tape removed except for the Doug Evans example while the Henning has been retaped with white to put the broken pieces of the blade back together. Additionally, the O'Dwyer has been retaped as well. All showing good game-use with heavy overall wear throughout each included stick, numerous marks and abrasions are present over each with cracks/chips/breaks observed to each except the Evans example.
