Setting up shop in the National Hockey League for a total of six (6) seasons between 1976 and 1982 after relocating from Kansas City and before the franchise's second big move to New Jersey, the Colorado Rockies would post a franchise win-loss record of 113-281-86 in 480 games played over that time, making the playoffs in only one (1) of their six (6) seasons in the league. Featuring an alumni list that includes the likes of Wilf Paiement and Lanny McDonald plus others such as Rob Ramage, Joel Quenneville, Chico Resch, Barry Beck and others, offered here is this equipment bag that was in the Rockies rotation throughout the franchise's history. A lightweight vinyl/nylon material offering in Colorado's primary blue colour that features heavyweight red canvas handles sewn to either side, both sides have had "Colorado Rockies - NHL" printed in yellow letters over them while the outline of Colorado's primary mountain logo is found in the middle in matching style. With the number "9" player identifier added inside the logo outline on one side, the only players that are listed as having worn the number during the Rockies tenure in the NHL are Wilf Paiement (1976-79), Lanny McDonald (1979-81) and Don Lever (1981-82) with each player taking the number over from the other when they were all traded for each other, albeit at different times. Remaining in overall good condition despite its years of use and countless road trips, the zipper at the top remains fully functional while many scratches, scuffs and other marks are seen in the body of the bag, heaviest at each end where a good number of small puncture holes are also present and accounted for.
