The oldest sporting trophy competed for in North America, with numerous hockey legends names inscribed on it's glorious body, the Stanley Cup was first awarded in 1893, and we offer a plaque with Cup image signed by approx 35 past champions. A Molson image likely removed from a book or program at 7" x 10" and mounted (removable) to a 10" x 13" finished wooden plaque with beveled edges and appearing to simulate marble, a "Heros de la Coupe Stanley" engraved plate has been affixed beneath. Signed in mixed colour markers, signers include HOFers the Richard brothers, Beliveau, Geoffrion, Moore, Lafleur, Dryden, Roy, Howe, Hull, Arbour, Resch, Brodeur, Lapointe, Worsley, Cournoyer, Laperriere, Charbonneau, Robinson and Steve Shutt, along with St-Laurent, M. Tremblay, McNeil, Nolet, Dupont, Hodge, P. Bouchard, Lambert, Deblois, Mondou, Goring, Houle, and Doug Jarvis. The signatures display beautifully despite being bunched-up. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
