Drafted by Los Angeles before three strong junior seasons that included scoring 191 points in 1985-86 for Hull in the Q, Luc Robitaille spent the majority of his HOF career in Hollywood, spread over three different stints, with the 1992-93 campaign notable due to the fact that it was the highest scoring campaign in Luc's NHL career and with his help, the Kings would find themselves in the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in franchise history at the end of the season. Registering 125 points in 84 games played, offered here is the puck used by Robitaille to record the 600th point of his NHL career. Occurring on October 15th, 1992 in a game between the Kings and Calgary Flames at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, California, Robitaille, having already recorded a goal and an assist in the eventual 4-0 win over the Flames, would reach the milestone on his 2nd goal of the game, taking place at 14:33 of the 2nd period on a goal that was assisted by Alexei Zhitnik. Originally hailing from his personal collection, the puck, displaying the Stanley Cup Centennial logo on one side and the NHL's "Official Game Puck" designation on the other along with the facsimile signature of one-year commissioner, Gil Stein, the puck remains in excellent condition and shows game-use via some light surface wear and scratches over both sides of the milestone biscuit. Having had white tape wrapped around the entirety of the edge, a handwritten notation reading “Oct 15/92 G.W. Forum – Calgary Flames, Luc Robitaille 600th NHL Career Point (G – L. Robitaille A – A. Zhitnik)” is penned over it in black ballpoint pen ink that while having faded from age, still remains fully legible. An LOA signed by Robitaille will accompany the piece.
