Enjoying a National Hockey League career that spanned a total of 497 games in which he suited up for the likes of the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins between 1958 and 1966, Albert "Junior" Langlois would win Lord Stanley's Cup a total of three (3) times as a member of the Habs. Registering 15 points in 67 games played during the 1959-60 NHL regular season with Montreal and contributing 3 more in 8 playoff games as the Canadiens defeated Toronto for their 5th straight Stanley Cup, offered here is this oval-shaped entrée dish with handled lid was presented to Langlois for his status as a member of the 1960-61 league champion Montreal Canadiens. Heavily embossed along the rim of the bowl as well as along the top of the lid and handles, attractively engraved script over the lid states, “National Hockey League – League Champions – 1960-61” and “Club de Hockey Canadien Inc – Albert Langlois”. A hallmark appears on the underside of the bowl with “E.P. on Copper” (electro plated) along with a production number of “8019”. Exhibiting minor surface wear and tarnish with no obtrusive damage except for a good amount of scratching over the bottom. Originally hailing directly from Langlois' personal collection, his signed letter of authenticity will accompany the piece.
