Gatorade Player of the Year for 2005 in Illinois as a high School senior, quarterback Demetrius Jones attended Notre Dame in 2006 but did not see any playing time as a freshman. Transferring to Cincinnati before the start of the fall 2007 quarter, Jones was unable to unseat the Bearcats' starting quarterback Tony Pike and opted instead to play the middle linebacker position. In two years as a reserve, he recorded 36 tackles and an interception. Then in 2010, with the departure of Brian Kelly (who, coincidentally, accepted the head coaching position at Notre Dame), Jones decided to transfer yet again. This Notre Dame jersey was worn by Jones in 2006. Adidas labeling is affixed to the front tail, with a year and size swatch to the collar. Featuring a Notre Dame emblem to the front collar, "4" in layered tackle twill graces the front, sleeves and verso. The jersey shows just light use. An LOA from Steiner will accompany.
