A product of both the St. Catharines Blackhawks and Niagara Falls Flyers in the OMJHL and drafted 160th overall by the St. Louis Blues in 1978, Bob Froese would go on to play in 242 NHL games overall during the course of his eight (8) year career with both the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers. Selected to Canada's National Team for the 1987 IIHF World Championships in Vienna, Austria where he would play in five (5) games, offered here is this stick used by Froese during the tournament with Team Canada. A Victoriaville made Super Vic "Curtis Curve" model that has been blacked out with black paint over most of it to comply with IIHF rules, "B. FROESE" is seen stamped in white over the shaft. Retaining its original tape job of white over both he knob and blade, it is worth pointing out that the tape over the knob has become heavily darkened and soiled over time. Sporting an intact foil accent sticker over the lower paddle and exhibiting just light game-use throughout with some marks and abrasions present over both the handle and paddle while puck marks are observed over both sides of the blade tape.
