Jay Legault #47 played for the London Knights during the 1996-97 season, starting with the Oshawa Generals before being acquired by the Knights and playing 28 games for them that season. He also continued to play for the Knights for the following two seasons. The size tag indicates it is a size "54" on the inner collar, with the back hem bearing both a “CHL” and “CCM” patch. The jersey has evidence of a former nameplate. Both sleeves exhibit a dozen or so game marks, including a stick mark on the left sleeve. The front and back of the jersey also exhibit a dozen or so game marks, including stick marks on each side.
Peter Reynolds #44 played for the team during the 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons, playing 55 and 59 games, respectively, before continuing to play his next two seasons with the North Bay Centennials. The size tag indicates it is a size "54" on the inner collar, with the back hem bearing both a “CHL” and “CCM” patch. The jersey exhibits a dozen or so game marks on the sleeves, front, and back, including a couple of board burns and stains on the right sleeve and front of the jersey and a few stains on the left sleeve.
Both fight straps show some signs of washing. The Legault jersey is accompanied by a team LOA and confirms this “#47 home white jersey to be an official game worn jersey used by Jay Legault for the duration of the 1996-1997 season”.
