One of the NHL’s legendary innovators as the first to regularly wear and develop the goal mask, Jacques Plante was also instrumental in helping to evolve the goaltending position itself, with his forays from the crease chasing loose pucks now commonplace amongst netminders. A 6-time Stanley Cup champion and a 7-time Vezina Trophy winner, offered here is this copy of Plante's 1957-58 Parkhurst card. Found in a raw ungraded state and appearing to be in the condition range of FR to G with a crease at the bottom left and rounded corners, the card still retains good eye appeal through sharp colours that help the action image "pop" when viewed in-person. Sure to be a positive add to your vintage card collection, additionally, also included with the card is a post card that features an image of deceased HHOF inductee Hector "Toe" Blake over the front which has also been signed by the former Canadiens bench boss at the right side with a gorgeous blue ballpoint pen ink signature that displays without issue while the postcard itself shows light wear to the edges and corners from age and handling as well as a crease at the bottom left corner, light toning and a surface print line over the reverse.
