Featuring many of the men that helped contribute to the success that Hockeytown saw on the ice during the golden era of the National Hockey League in the early-1950s when the red and white of the Detroit Red Wings hoisted a quartet of Stanley Cups between 1949-50 and 1954-55, offered here is this collection of twenty-eight (28) Detroit Red Wings hockey cards that date between 1954-55 and 1959-60. Including cards from the seasons 1954-55 (7), 1957-58 (8), 1958-59 (5) and 1959-60 (8) with a Gordie Howe card present in each of the included years, notable cards include the Howe's from 1954-55 (GOOD - creased and back stain), 1957-58 (G to VG - corner wear and a light bend), 1958-59 (AUTHENTIC - torn) and 1959-60 (GOOD - corner wear and right border bend) as well as those of Terry Sawchuk from 1954-55 (AUTHENTIC - torn) and 1957-58 (AUTHENTIC - paper loss), Norm Ullman from 1957-58 (G to VG - corner wear) and 1959-60 (FR to G - scuffed front and corner wear/dings), Alex Delvecchio from 1957-58 (G to VG - rounded corners) and 1959-60 (FR to G - worn out and corner wear/dings), Red Kelly from 1954-55 (GOOD - corner wear/dings) and 1957-58 (G to VG - corner wear/dings) and lastly, Ted Lindsay from 1954-55 (GOOD - corner wear) and 1957-58 (GOOD - corner wear). Overall, a nice grouping for those looking to add some vintage cards of Red Wings legends to their collections at what is likely to be a reasonable price point!
