One of Motor City’s all-time greatest, Steve Yzerman spent his entire career with the Detroit Red Wings, registering over 1,700 points including almost 700 goals and helping lead the Red Wings to three Stanley Cup Championships. Represent Team Canada on numerous occasions throughout his career, including at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games when he helped his country to a gold medal and inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009, offered here is this stick used by Yzerman towards the end of his career in either the 2003-04 or 2005-06 seasons. An Easton Stealth model with "19 Yzerman" graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of red-cloth-over-white on the handle/knob and black wrapped around the blade, most of the blade tape on the forehand side of the stick has been removed to facilitate Yzerman's flowing silver marker ink signature that displays without issue. Of note, the signature has been personalized with an annotation reading "Best Wishes Barry" in matching ink. Exhibiting good game-wear with numerous marks and abrasions present throughout the length of the shaft as well as over the lower shaft, heel and remaining blade tape as well, the stick displays a crack in it at the lower shaft that doesn't go all the through to result in a full break.
