Discovered in packs while the Detroit Red Wings were heading towards a record seventh straight regular season championship and a fourth Stanley Cup title in six years were Parkhurst cards like these with the assembly presenting here making up a near complete set that includes 91 of the 100 cards that are included within the checklist. Missing just cards #'d 4, 21, 26, 28, 68, 70, 79, 81 and 84 for completion, the group is viewed as being an overall low-grade contingent, made up of mostly PR to F and FR to G grade range offerings that show multiple creases and rounded corners while around ten (10) cards present in a better state. For the key cards, included are those of 3-Beliveau (PR to F - off-center - multiple creases - corner wear/damage and rounding), 7-M. Richard (FR to G - rounded corners and worn), 8-Geoffrion (PR to F - multiple corners - off-center and corner wear/damage and rounding), 14-Harvey (PR to F - multiple creases), 24-Armstrong (FR to G - creases), 31-Horton (FR to G - creases), 33-Sawchuk ("Authentic" - torn), 41-Howe ("Authentic" - paper loss on the reverse), 65-Bower RC (PR to F - creases and a torn corner) and 82-Sasakamoose RC (FR to G - worn/rounded corners). Additionally, also included with the lot is a group of sixty-four (64) extra cards from the same 1954-55 release with all in the same low-grades ranges as those listed above, largely just PR to F with a few FR to G examples also possible as well. Highlighted by a copy of 3-Beliveau (PR to F - corner wear/damage and creases) and 31-Horton ("Authentic" - bent in half and other creases), overall, all this vintage and perviously enjoyed cardboard is sure to be a welcome addition in its new home!
