Murphy played for the Houston Aeros during the 2005-06 season where he recorded 14 goals and 53 assists in 80 regular season games. The right shoulder has an "AHL 2006 All-Star Classic" patch and the left shoulder has an "AHL 70" years patch. The accompanying LOA confirms that “this is the jersey #14 Curtis Murphy of the Houston Aeros wore during the second period of the AHL All-Star game. The jersey was autographed by the player immediately following the period”. The number “4” on the back of the jersey is signed in black marker by Murphy.
