The 4th overall pick at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues, Alex Pietrangelo was a mainstay in the Blues lineup for 12 seasons, leading them to their first Stanley Cup in 2019 before signing with the Vegas Golden Knights and winning another Stanley Cup in 2023. A product of the OHL's Mississauga/Niagara Ice Dogs who has represented Team Canada at numerous times during his career, winning gold at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, 2016 World Cup of Hockey and 2009 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships, offered here is this pair of gloves worn by Pietrangelo during the 2009 edition of the tournament when he posted three (3) points in six (6) games played on the way to a top of the podium finish. Nike Bauer made XXXX Pro model gloves in Team Canada's black, red and white colours, "Team Canada" has been embroidered into he outside of each wrist guard while Hockey Canada logos are found embroidered into each thumb as well. Also displaying numerous Nike Bauer logos embroidered throughout each gauntlet, model identifiers are found embroidered into the upper portion of each thumb, screened inside both wrists and on a tag affixed to the interior, where Pietrangelo's number "10" has been penned in black marker ink. Displaying good game-wear via rubbing on each palm that is heaviest in the left hand, other wear is found in the form of stick marks, graphics/material wear and some light fraying/loss of material around the edges. Accompanied by a Hockey Canada LOA signed by Bob Nicholson, the gloves have been photo-matched with Getty Image #84282382 (January 3rd, 2009 vs Russia) to the stick mark at the bottom of Pietrangelo's right thumb.
