In his 1999-2000 rookie season, Mika Noronen was awarded the Dudley (Red) Garrett Memorial Award as the league’s outstanding rookie. He soon joined the Buffalo Sabres for a total of five seasons. The size tag indicates a size "58G" on the inner collar, and the back of the collar has an "AHL" patch. Sewn to the right breast is a "Bob Johnson Chevrolet" patch, and the back hem includes an "SP" and "AHL" patch. The accompanying LOA states that "these brilliant red knit gamers were worn by the Americans as their Friday Night alternate game jerseys". Both sleeves exhibit a half dozen or so small game marks combined. There are two small game marks next to the "Bob Johnson Chevrolet" patch on the front of the jersey and above the front hem.
