Originally selected 2nd overall by Nashville at the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, David Legwand would go on to a lengthy seventeen (17) career in the National Hockey League and spend fifteen (15) of those years with the Predators between 1998-99 and 2013-14 while also enjoying stints with Detroit, Ottawa and Buffalo as well. The Predators franchise leader in games played with 956 contests under his belt in the "Country Music Capital", offered here is this Preds jersey worn by Legwand for a portion of the 2002-03 season. Made by CCM, a single size "56" label is affixed to the inner collar while a CCM logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline. Sporting an embroidered NHL shield over the reverse hem, the front of the jersey has been decorated with a Predators team crest that features textured and embroidered details throughout with matching alternate logo patches have been added over both shoulders. Also displaying the Predators' 5th anniversary patch that is in place over the right breast, the sleeves and verso of the garment have been styled with Legwand's number number "11" in dual layer navy-over-yellow tackle twill numerals while "Legwand" is spelt out in single layer italicized white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting good game-wear throughout, stick marks are found over the front, reverse and both sleeves of the jersey while both sleeves are also riddled with numerous board burns and coloured board paint transfer marks as well. Showing additional battle scars through a team repair on the right sleeve and an unrepaired hole near the left cuff, a Predators team tag has been added inside the reverse hem alongside a MeiGray tag numbered "A06524", with the company's population report listing it as a "White 2nd Regular Season" specimen. Having been photo-matched, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #52428540 (December 30th, 2002 vs Ottawa) to the stick marks underneath the crest on the front.
