Recognized as one of the greatest defencemen of the modern era, Nicklas Lidstrom represented only the Detroit Red Wings throughout his NHL career, and earned numerous accolades, including seven James Norris Trophies and four Stanley Cup Championships. Hailing from the late-1990s/early-2000s when the Red Wings were running rickshaw over the entirety of the National Hockey League, offered here is this stick used by Lidstrom. An Easton made "A/C - Aluminum Carbon" model shaft that is void of any Lidstrom identifiers, the original white handle/knob tape that displays signs of heavy use as well as Lidstrom's number "5" at the bottom penned in black marker is observed while black cloth is in place around the back part of the blade. Having been signed by Lidstrom over the forehand side of the blade tape with a silver marker ink signature that displays largely without issue, a Christian brand wooden blade has been inserted into the bottom of the shaft and has had its logos on either side crossed out with black ink. Exhibiting overall light game-use, a few marks and abrasions are present over the length of the shaft, lower shaft and untaped sections of the blade while light wear is seen over both sides of the blade tape and over the bottom of the blade plus edge of the toe.
